Send the Spies

Fear clouds the Israelites’ vision at the edge of the Promised Land, but God calls them—and us—to live by faith, not by sight.

Num 13 & 14:1-10
Have you ever let fear talk you out of something God was leading you toward? The Israelites stood on the brink of everything God promised, yet fear made them hesitate. Ten of the twelve spies came back focused on the giants, not God’s power. Only Joshua and Caleb believed God’s word over what they saw. Fear still tries to distort our vision today. We face challenges that feel too big, and our confidence falters. But God calls us to live by faith, not by sight. When we trust His promises, He strengthens us to move forward. What “giants” are you seeing right now? Ask God to help you shift your focus from fear to faith. His presence goes with you, and His promises never fail.
