Deuteronomy 31:6
Have you ever felt unqualified for what God is asking you to do? Joshua likely did. As Moses’ successor, he faced the enormous task of leading Israel into the Promised Land. But before Joshua could act, God spoke words that still echo today: “Be strong and courageous…for the LORD your God goes with you” (Deut. 31:6). God wasn’t looking for someone flawless—He was looking for someone faithful. When we feel unsure or overwhelmed by our responsibilities, we can remember that courage doesn’t come from having all the answers. It comes from knowing that God is with us. Just like Joshua, we are called to trust God more than we trust our fears. Whether you’re facing a new role, a big decision, or a time of transition, lean into the truth that God never leaves or forsakes. He equips those He calls.
